Dolly Kay Mayes

Dolly Kay Mayes, Nee' DeCoursey, died Sunday, September 8, 2019. She was born in Chicago, Illinois August 20th, 1937 to Leonard and Ellen (Scott) De Coursey. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Mitchell, grandson Ashton, and Kilty April. She is survived by daughters Jessamyn Goodwin, Ellen Mayes and Peri Mayes, grandchildren Lacy, Shea and Logan, and dear friend Sally Richard-Singh. Dolly was a medical technologist who loved art, nature, animals and intellectual discussions. She was fiercely intelligent and well before her time in her passion for social justice and protecting the environment. Dolly Kay was loved more than she knew and will be missed.
