George W. "Sonny" Brock, Jr.

George W. "Sonny" Brock, Jr., 90, of Little Rock, born July 25, 1929, in Forrest City, Ark., passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019. Sonny was a true outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. He was a retired pipefitter for Perkins Automatic Sprinkler Company and Korean War Veteran. He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Billie Jean Wilson Brock; son, Dale (Bub) Brock; two daughters, Terri Elliott (Joe) and Christy Smith (David); two sisters, Carmen Hall and Gayle Hoffman (Ralph); sister-in-law, Treva Brock; five grandchildren who knew him as "Thump," Carrie Sewell (Bbo), Brock Elliott (Jess), Maggie Mason (Reid), Ben and Sam Elliott; great-grandsons, Peyton, Dylan, and Grayson Sewell, Bentley and Beckett Mason, and best friend, Dennis Clark (Kathy) of Myrtle, MO, along with a large extended family who loved him dearly and will miss him greatly. Preceding him in death were his parents, George W. Brock and Clara Brock, and his brother, Doug. Special thanks to the staff at Barrow Creek Healthcare and Arkansas Hospice. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, Ark., 72116. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. on Thursday, September 19th at Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park, in Alexander, Ark. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 p.m., Wednesday, September 18th at the Funeral Home.
