Thomas W. Bell, 92, of Bentonville, Ark., passed away September 14, 2019, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. He was born April, 2, 1927, in Smyrna, Ark., to James Franklin Belland Eva Amanda "Younger" Bell. Tommy served honorably in the Army from 1952-1954. He worked in personnel in charge of morning reports and special orders. He was discharged honorably as a staff sergeant E5. Tommy was preceded in death by 10 siblings, his parents, and a great-grandson, Thomas Rateliff. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Irene Bell; two daughters, Brenda Rateliff & husband Charles Rateliff of Bentonville, and Donna Myers and husband Don Myers of Bentonville; four grandchildren, Kimberly Phillips, Matt Rateliff, Michael Rateliff & Melissa Boyer; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Libby Walden. Tommy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bentonville. He worked for Kraft Foods in Bentonville for 38 years. Tommy loved his wife, daughters, grandchildren & great grandchildren dearly. He enjoyed fishing with his two son-in-laws Charles and Don. He was a true Razorback fan. He was a blessing to the many lives he touched. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 10 a.m., at First Baptist Church Bentonville. The funeral will follow at 11a.m., with Pastor Phillip Smith officiating. Burial to follow in the Bentonville Cemetery. Memorials may be made in memory of Tommy Bell to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, Ark., 72762-9914.
