Virginia Lynn "Ginger" Norwood Cole

Virginia Lynn "Ginger" Norwood Cole, age 67, of Little Rock, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019. She was born June 1, 1952, in Little Rock, Ark. Ginger was a retired accountant and a member of Ironton Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Margaret Norwood. She is survived by her husband of 21 years and true soul mate, Phillip Cole; her loving daughter, Rhonda Runnells Blankenship (Garrett); two brothers, Richard "Dick" White (Martha) and Wayne Norwood (Karen); five grandchildren, Cassidy, Abby, Lanie, Cooper & Eli; six nieces & nephews and a host of cousins & friends. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, at Ashby Funeral Home. Memorial services will be 5:30 p.m. Friday, September 20, at Ironton Assembly of God @ 15722 Ironton Rd in Little Rock, Ark., 72206. Family Comments: Ginger was a loving & caring wife and mother. She was the ROCK of the family. Ginger loved the outdoors and loved to cook. She was a fixture at recitals and football games for her grandchildren. Ginger will be greatly missed.
