Mary Allene "Dinah" Brazeale Swan age 79, of Counce, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019. She was born August 22, 1940 to the late Homer L. and Mary D. Shaddock Brazeale. Mary graduated from University of Central Arkansas in Conway.
She taught school in Hughes and Crawfordville, Arkansas before retiring from the Selmer, Tennessee school district. Mary loved to cook and make candy. She was very active in genealogy research. She loved her family and spending time with her granddaughter, Emily.
Survivors are her daughter, Rebecca Grooms and husband, Johnny of Woodbridge, Virginia; one brother, Gene Brazeale and wife, Wilda Sue of Sparkman; one niece, Teresa McCauley of Arkadelphia and one nephew, David Brazeale and wife, Denise of Sparkman.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 18th at Sardis Cemetery near Sparkman with Peggy Abbott and Max Deaton officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105. Online register is available at www.ruggleswilcox.com.
