Hollis Wayne Fincher, 73, of Fayetteville, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born April 8, 1946 in Fayetteville, Ark. to James Hollis Fincher and Muriel Snider-Fincher. He loved his God and his Country. He loved to go Colorado elk hunting. He enjoyed making guns, knives, bows and cannons. He loved life. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 45 years, Linda Lawhorn-Fincher; and brother, Tom Laney. Survivors include two daughters, Connie Fields and husband Kenneth of Elkins and Carol Ann Hale and husband David of Brentwood; one sister, Wanda Walker of Strickler; one brother, Gary Fincher of Black Oak; two grandsons, Chris Fields and wife Cassie and Keith Fields, both of Elkins; great-grandchildren, Asher Fields and Eliza Fields; step-grandchildren, Michelle Salcido-Cordova and Gabe Salcido-Cordova, among many other family members and friends. Private burial and services will be held Friday, at the Mineral Springs Cemetery near West Fork. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Willard Walker Hospice, and would ask in lieu of flowers, to please make donations to Willard Walker Hospice Center, 325 E Longview St. Fayetteville, Ark. 72703.
