William Conant Chevaillier, 90, of Russellville, died September 12, 2019. He was born September 11, 1929, in Jacksonville, Fla., to William Conant and Alice Irvine Chevaillier. After four years of service in the U.S. Navy, Bill married the love of his life, Milly Lee, in 1953. Bill completed his education and taught finance and economics at Arkansas Tech University for 36 years (1957-1994). Bill had a passion for life and adventure, including sailing, tennis, boating, fishing, and travel. He was a member of All Saints' Episcopal Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Chevaillier; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Ford. Bill is survived by his wife of 66 years, Milly Lee Chevaillier; two sons, William Conant (Janice) Chevaillier of Tulsa, Okla., and Charles (Terrie) Chevaillier of Houston, Texas; and a daughter, Shari (Michael) Ford of Little Rock. Bill had nine grandchildren, Conner, Scott, and Leigh Chevaillier, Matthew (Kim) Ford, Andrew Ford, Max (Stefani) Ford, Forrest (Elizabeth) Chevaillier, Brooks Chevaillier, and Hunter Chevaillier; and a great-grandchild, Ella Ford. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, September 20, 2019, at All Saints' Episcopal Church with Rev. Dr. Teri Daily officiating. Arrangements are by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to All Saints' Episcopal Church, 501 South Phoenix Avenue, Russellville, Arkansas 72801.
