Altha Brannon

Altha Brannon, 92, of Jacksonville, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019. She is survived by her children, Chester Brannon (Evelyn), Mary Strain (Glen), Harvey Brannon, Patsy Summers (Thomas); one sister, Barbara Fischlin (Paul) and a dear friend and "chosen" daughter, Cathi Hollis; seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Flossie Roberts; her husband, Benjamin "Benny" Brannon; two sisters and three brothers. Altha enjoyed gardening, canning, fishing and was a wonderful cook. She attended Calvary Apostolic Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, September 26, 2019, at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, North Little Rock. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, September 27th at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Donald Roseberry, Jr. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery, Hwy 89.
