Ronald E Mays

Ronald E. Mays, 70, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, died Thursday, September 19, 2019, at Mercy of Bella Vista. He was born May 12, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio to Eugene Fredrick and Mildred "Pearlene" (Williams) Mays. He graduated from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio with a business administration degree. He was a United States veteran serving in the Army in Germany during the Vietnam War. He worked as a retail auditor for PRG and Connolly Consulting for over 30 years. His hobbies included boating, fishing and bird watching. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes. His greatest loves were his loving wife, Sharon, his grandkids and his dog, Gracie. He loved to take his grandkids boating and enjoyed fishing trips with friends and family. Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Sharon Mays; his sons, Brian (Judi) Mays and Kevin (Kari) Mays; step-children, Kyle (Emily) Franks and Lana Franks; his grandchildren, Trevor, Jordan, Garrett, Sawyer and Sylvie Mays and Jillian, Addison and Grayson Franks; his brother David (Linda) Mays and his nephews, David Mays, Darren (Margaret) Mays and niece, Kara (Eric) Weber. Memorial service will be held Monday, September 23, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel.
