Elder Thomas Banks, 99, departed this life September 20, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Isaac and Veva S. Banks; son, Kenneth Wayne; a brother, Reverend V. M. Banks; his sisters, June Maxine Sadler, Constance M. Banks. Elder Banks was a D.A.V., and was a Retired Postal employee and a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Survivors are his loving and devoted wife of 69 years, Rosemary Pruitt Banks; his son, Reginald T. Banks (Mae Julia); grandsons, Eliot T. Banks, Miles J. Banks; daughter in law, Jacquelyn Banks; granddaughter, Joy Lynn Banks as well as a number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, September 27, 2019, at Shiloh Baptist Church. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church, under the direction of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W 12th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas.The family has requested no flowers.
