Ronald Dean Sawyer of Jacksonville, Ark., passed away surrounded by family and friends on September 21, 2019 at the age of 63. Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Denise Sawyer, sons, Branden and Jason, step-son, Michael Unger, eight grandchildren, his mother, Tai Sawyer, sister, Joanne Chambers, and brother, Steven Sawyer. Ron was preceded in death by his father, Donald Sawyer. Ron was born October 13, 1955 in Buffalo, New York. After settling in Arkansas, He graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1974. Ron loved music and was an avid and talented guitarist. He loved to coach sports and served as coach for his sons' sports teams for several years. Ron loved to camp, and nothing made him happier than heading out to a tranquil place with Denise and their dogs. A celebration of Ron's life will be held on Thursday, September 26 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
