Charles Thomas Nation

Charles Thomas Nation (Chase), 31, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, September 23, 2019. He was born March 11, 1988 in Fayetteville to Delvin J. Nation and Gail Swanson. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Rev. Thomas J. and Gladys Nation; maternal grandfather, Howard Johnson; uncle, Sam Johnson; and cousin, Britt Johnson. Chase was a member of Buckner Baptist Church and was active in the youth programs. He enjoyed restoring cars and working on machines. Chase enjoyed being with his family and loved his dog Roscoe. He is survived by his father, Delvin J. Nation of Fayetteville; his mother, Gail Swanson and husband, Kerry of Rogers; a sister, Kelli Nation-Zelaya; a brother, Britt Nation of Fayetteville; maternal grandmother, Bonnie Johnson of Dumas, Ark.; a nephew, Matt Nation; and nieces Gabby and Vanessa Zelaya. Chase was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Buckner Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Mitchell officiating.
