Erin Elizabeth Finch-Mayer passed on to greener pastures on September 17, 2019. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, friend and passionate equestrian. She was a fierce, warrior soul, who was loved immensely by so many and she will forever be in our hearts. Erin was a horsewoman through & through. Born March 14, 1976, she grew up competing in horse shows & rodeos. She was at her happiest when she was in the saddle. Her love for horses was truly immeasurable and she followed that passion working on thoroughbred racetracks in Arkansas, Kentucky & South Carolina. Erin is preceded by her mother, Robin Rice Badley, grandparents, Col. James Raine Laney & Joyce Robinson Laney, William Carl Finch, great-grandparents, Carl Mizell & Lillian Castleberry Finch, and Erin's dear friend, Kate Burrington. She is survived by her daughter, Mildred Raine Mayer, parents, Carl Hopkins Finch, Dr. George Pat Badley, & Irene Fuller, siblings, Amelia Thompson (Evan), Jessie Shelley (Clayton), Zachary Finch, Michael Badley (Jenny), Janell Brown (Joshua), & Kristie Badley, grandmother, Gloria Hopkins and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly. A private service will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery. A reception for all will be held at Pine Hill Ranch, 19513 Congo Ferndale, Little Rock, Ark. at 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019.
