Susie Mauney Woffod

Ms. Susie Mauney Wofford, age 86, of Little Rock died September 24th, 2019. She was born in the Garrett Bridge Community, near Dumas, Arkansas. Susie retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company after 38 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents: Guy and Lucy Wilkerson Mauney; a brother: Morris "Dick" Mauney of Dumas; two sisters: Katrina Jones of Mayflower, and Iva White of the Landmark Community. Survivors include one daughter: Karen (McAfee) McJunkin and husband Doyle "Butch" McJunkin of Little Rock; one grandson: Jeremy McJunkin of Little Rock; one great-granddaughter: Dakota McJunkin; one great-grandson: Jaxon McJunkin; her beloved "boys" Roscoe and Rufus; and many nieces and nephews. Susie is also preceded in death by a longtime special friend: Hilaire "Russ" Rousseau. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 30th, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. with a service the following day, Tuesday, October 1st, 2019 at 10 a.m., both at Pinecrest Funeral Home (7401 Hwy. 5 North, Alexander, Ark., 72002). Susie will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Pinecrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Pulaski County Humane Society in Susie's memory.
