Tammery Lynn Wood Lawrence, 64 of Cave Springs went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 30, 2020. Tammy was born April 20, 1955 in Terrell, Texas and is the only child of George Edward Wood and Wilma Sullivan Wood. She lived in Terrell until graduating High School in 1973. That same fall, she enrolled at East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. It was her first week of school when she met Roger Lawrence. After six short weeks of dating, the two were engaged and married on May 25, 1974. Tammy & Roger moved to Shreveport, La., and welcomed two sons, Ryan and Kyle. She loved nothing more than watching her boys play ball. No matter where they were playing, she would be in attendance as their biggest fan. Roger & Tammy relocated numerous times, but one thing remained constant with each new move; she quickly made new friends while remaining close to old friends. Tammy was happy to move to Northwest Arkansas in 2016 to be near her family, especially her only granddaughter, Paige. She and Denise Peacock were co-owners of Simply Rustic Gifts in Springdale. Tammy was an active member of First Baptist Church of Rogers. She loved to sew, sing, serve the Lord, and share time with her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 46 years, Roger, a son, Ryan, a daughter-in-law, Jamie, and granddaughter, Paige. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Wilma Wood, and a son, Kyle Everett Lawrence. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at a later date once the current limitations on gatherings have subsided. Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Condolences may be expressed at www.RollinsFuneral.com.
