Georgia Mae Richard

Georgia Mae Shaver Richard, 93, of Gurdon, Ark. passed away April 15, 2020 in Arkadelphia, Ark. Georgia was born November 9, 1926 to Reno and Ruby Carter Shaver Clark. Georgia was a member of First Baptist Church, Beirne, AR where she attended faithfully. Georgia is preceded in death by her parents, husband, William (Bill) Richard; one daughter, Lynn Richard Horst; one son, Dickie Richard; one brother, Jack Shaver and one sister, Virginia (Sis) Stephens Boone. Georgia is survived by one brother, Charles (Joe Ann) Shaver of Gurdon, Ark.; one grandson, Todd Horst; special nephew and caregiver Paul Shaver of Gurdon, Ark.; step-grandson Jeff Clemmens (Stephanie) and three step-great-grandchildren, along with one niece, two nephews and several cousins. There will be a private service under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home of Gurdon. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Beirne, Ark. 71721.
