Peggy Lee Johnson

PEGGY LEE JOHNSON, of Little Rock, passed through Heaven's Gates on April 13, 2020. She was preceded in death by: parents, Doris Holland Richardson, Oliver L. Sims; and a sister, Lavatrice Anita Holland Lewis. Left to cherish her memories are: husband, Robert Hill; son and daughter, Keithen and Leonette Jones; brother, Oliver Benson; three grandchildren, DeWayne Withers, Shacara and Precious Jones; five great-grands; a host of other family members, friends and her beloved Horace Mann 1964 classmates. After high school she earned her nursing license and the rest is history. Her greatest joy in the 50 plus years of nursing was caring for geriatric patients. As recent as 2019, Peggy was a student at UA Pulaski Technical College pursuing the education needed to open an adult day care center. Her "senior" babies will miss her. Visitation, Friday, April 24, 2020 from 11 a.m.-5p.m., Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S. Chester, LR. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
