Sullivan on October 2, 1948, and graduated from Guymon High School in 1949. Fonda raised her children in Guymon, Okla., and Garden City, Kan. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Garden City, Kan. and in Bella Vista, Ark. After retirement back to Garden City, she was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Garden City before moving to Bakersfield, Calif., in 2017. Fonda enjoyed 25 years of retirement with Gene in Bella Vista, Ark., and south Texas, playing bingo, going to church, playing tennis, playing cards with friends, eating the fish dad caught, and enjoying life. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister; her two daughters, Janice Jay (Bakersfield, Calif.) and Jeanne Sullivan (Garden City, Kan.), her daughter-in-law, Cheryl Sullivan; and her great-grandson, Aziess Whitehurst. In remembrance of her, these are the three best options: 1) Find a Taco Tuesday night at your local restaurant and enjoy some ground beef tacos and/or 2) find your local bingo session and let her rip and/or 3) Play Farkle, Boggle, or Pass the Ace….Bring your quarters!
