Shirley Linda McMillan Hickman

Shirley Linda McMillan Hickman, 77, of Little Rock, died on August 4, 2020. She was born November 16, 1942, to Lucile Mildred and Eugene Debs McMillan, both predeceased. She was a graduate of North Little Rock High School and obtained an Associate's Degree from Saddleback College. She was preceded in death by her best friend and sister, Frances Carleda McMillan, and her younger brother, Alton Howard McMillan, as well as her parents. Shirley is survived by and was known as Mom to two children: a daughter, Fran Carleda, and a son, Richard (Ric) Hiram, Jr., who she loved and who loved her very much. She is also survived by her oldest brother, Donald Eugene (Gene) McMillan, and his wife Alice; a sister-in-law, Alice Ott McMillan; 6 nephews; 2 nieces; 7 great-nephews and 5 great --nieces. Shirley was a voracious reader and enjoyed traveling in her younger years. She loved her dog, Chloe, and those who came before. Shirley's visitation is to be held one hour before the service at 10 a.m. on August 8, 2020. Her funeral service will be at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock on August 8, 2020, at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Glover Cemetery with family only attending.
