Joshua Williams, Jr.

Deacon Joshua Williams, Jr., 92, Conway departed this life August 8, 2020. He was a US Army veteran who enjoyed singing praises at various local churches. He is preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Williams. Survivors: Wanda Newton of Kansas City, Kan., and Annette (Elder Elvin) Credit of Mayflower, Ark.; three grandchildren: Michael Ingram, Jr. and Jason Ingram, both of Kansas City, Kan. and Stephanie Harris of Charlotte, N.C.; and three great-grandchildren: Aliyah Ingram of Los Angeles, Calif.; Quan Harris-Holley and Zayd Harris-Holley both of Charlotte, N. C.; Brothers: Rev. B.R. Williams, Billy Joe Williams and Dorsey Williams; Sisters Erma Downs, Lois Palmer, Barbara Hall and Luvenia Carr, all of Kansas City and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Memorial services will be held on 11 a.m., August 28, 2020 at Salem Baptist Church in Kansas City, Kan. followed by Interment at Leavenworth National Cemetery with full military honors.
