Willie Buddy Payne

WILLIE "BUDDY" PAYNE, age 81, of Roland, Arkansas born on August 5, 1939 left this life and went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 1:25 p.m. at UAMS Hospital Little Rock, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Mary Helen "Davis" Payne of Roland, Arkansas. Mary and Buddy had two sons; Tony Payne of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Allen Payne of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Six grandchildren; Cindy Horton Payne of Little Rock, Christy Payne of North Little Rock, Christopher Payne of Hot Springs, Joshua Payne of Tampa, Florida, Jared Payne of Las Vegas, Nevada and Justin Payne of Pueblo, Colorado and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday , August 19, 2020 at Natural Steps Baptist Church, Roland , Arkansas with Pastor Allen Payne of First Baptist Church of Peaceful Valley of Colorado, Springs Colorado officiating. Burial will be at Ada Valley Cemetery near Oppelo, Arkansas by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Church.
