Faye Bailey Patterson

Faye Bailey Patterson, age 95, of Hazen, went to be with the Lord November 27, 2020, at Springhill Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock. She was born in Gentry, Ark., on July 21, 1925, to Hollis Bailey and Grace Wiles Bailey. Faye retired in May of 1984 after teaching school for 36 years in the Hazen and De Valls Bluff school districts. Faye was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Hazen. She was a former Sunday School teacher and member of the Women's Missionary Union. Faye was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don H. Patterson; sisters, Betty Arnn, Mary Jo Patterson, Marie Owens, and her brother, Robert Bailey. She is survived by her daughter, Kay Holloway (Larry) of Biscoe, Ark; son, Mike Patterson (Kandus) of Hot Springs, Ark; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at 11:30 a.m., at the Hazen Cemetery with Dr. Andy Schalchlin officiating. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O.
