BETTYE SUE CHAMBERS – Momma, Honey, Susie, Sue-Baby, Friend entered Heaven December 6, 2020. Sue was born February 18, 1932, to Johnie R. and Marion Julia Chitwood in Buckville, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by husband Glen E. Chambers; parents; and sister, Jo Laverne Smith. Sue graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1950 and attended Henderson State College. She retired from Little Rock Branch Federal Reserve Bank, Human Resources. As a 76-year member of Baring Cross Baptist Church, Mother served as a teacher; director of Homebound Ministries; served on various committees and in clubs. Sue volunteered at Springhill Baptist Hospital and the Hayes Center. Survivors are sisters, Ida Doris Lewis and Janelle Curry; daughters, Julia Harvey (Ray), Gigi Parker (Dan), Carol Weindruch (Tom); grandchildren, Megan Burgeis (Charlie), Jacob Harvey (Lindsay), Zach Harvey (Lena), Kc Rose (Ronnie), Matt Usery (Alicia), Emily Raine (Jacob), Katelyn Erickson (Bobby), Anna Parker, Lee Parker; great-grandchildren, Mallory and Brody Burgeis, Presley, Lilly and Cantley Harvey, Wyatt and Sutton Harvey, Emma Erickson, Bella and Whitmean Rose, Codi Rae and Charlee Jo Usery. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 8, from noon-1 p.m. at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, North Little Rock. Services will follow at 2 p.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
