Wayne E Barbee

On Sunday, December 13, 2020, WAYNE E. BARBEE of North Little Rock, Ark., a thoughtful, loving and humorous person, stepped across the threshold that we call death into a room of rest and peace. Wayne was the sixth child of Jessie Sr. and Margree Barbee. He was preceded in death by; his father, Jessie Barbee Sr. two sisters, Abbie Marie Barbee, and Delois Barbee Robinson; two brothers Jessie Barbee Jr. and Dayton A. Barbee. He leaves to cherish his memories; his wife of seven years, Carolyn Smith Barbee; one daughter Laquita Denise Barbee of Dallas, Texas and one step-daughter, Thersa Evans of N.C. His Mother Margree Lambert Barbee of Sherwood, Ark.; siblings, Sylvester Barbee, of North Little Rock, Ark., Jerome (Claudette) Barbee, of DeSoto, Texas, Quantilla Barbee of North Little Rock, Ark., and Clarice Brown (Victor) Roy, of Sherwood, Ark., and a host of other relatives and friends. A Celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2020, 10 a.m., at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Ave. North Little Rock, Ark.
