Joyce Froman

Joyce Froman, 78, was called home to her Lord on December 19, 2020. Joyce was one of four children born to Earl and Frances Camp in Stuttgart, Ark., on July 5, 1942. She graduated from Stuttgart High School and State College of Arkansas (now UCA). She was a retired math teacher, spending most of her career at Bryant Junior High School. There was almost nothing she couldn't can, cook, sew, or stitch. She loved to share her creations with family and friends. She leaves her husband of 49 years, Elmer Froman; two daughters: Patricia Trejo (Travis) of Sulphur, La., and Annette Froman of Benton; two granddaughters: Virginia Miller (Shane) and Katherine Simon (Josh); and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Frances Camp of Stuttgart; two sisters, Diane Cowart of Morrilton and Janice Chandler (Luther) of Greenville, Miss; and one brother, James Camp of Stuttgart; as well as many nieces and nephews. Both Joyce and Elmer attended Benton First Church of the Nazarene. A graveside service will be held at Hockenberry Cemetery in Nady, Ark., at 10 Tuesday, December 22. A memorial service in Joyce's honor will be held at a later date. www.essexfuneralhome.com
