Theda Mae Crossett

Photo of Theda Mae Crossett
Theda Mae Crossett, began her journey on June 4, 1941, in Pine Bluff, Ark. She was called home suddenly on December 27, 2020. She was born to the proud parents, Ora May and Sammy Crossett. Her parents, as well as her two older sisters, Mary Katherine Crossett Hill and Velma Lee Crossett, preceded her in death some years ago. She left behind her three beloved children, Joe Michael Winningham and his wife Brenda, Donald Ray Winningham and his wife Cindy and Wendy Lynn Evans Kinloch and her husband Jim; as well as many loving grandchildren, Jerry Winningham, Brittany and Austin Winningham, Nathan and Jordan Heddin, and Grace Kinloch; and two great-grandchildren. Theda was a strong woman with a heart of gold. Content with her own company, a good Western novel and her garden. It was said that if it could be baked, cooked, sewn or grown, Theda could do it. Her youth was spent with her sisters touring Southern Revivals singing gospel hymns. The three of them had the voices of angels and will surely be singing together again today. Gone from our lives but forever in our hearts. Cremation arrangements by Buie Funeral of Rison (870) 325-6216. Sign the online guestbook at www.buiefuneralhome.com.
