Pamela Lee Gayer, 68, of Little Flock, died Tuesday, February 4th, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers. She was born September 6th, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Howard Eugene and Jane Catherine Jordan Smith. Her family moved to NW Arkansas when she was a young girl and lived here the remainder of her life. She was a homemaker devoted to her family while volunteering many hours to her children's school. She loved all her adopted dogs and cats over the years, taking in strays whenever they showed up. She enjoyed crafting for many years and especially loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an excellent cook until her later years when acute pain forced her to become a homebody who loved watching TV and shopping endless catalogs. Survivors include her husband, Burley Gayer of Little Flock; two children, Cory Gayer (Becky) of Bentonville, Lindsay Bien (Eric) of Springfield, Missouri; four grandchildren, Tad Gayer, Caitlin Gayer, Baileigh Chadwick and Brayden Gayer; two great-grandchildren and a 3rd due next month; one brother Steve Smith (Sally) of Big Fork, Arkansas; two nephews and one niece; and many other relatives. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, February 7 and her Funeral Celebration is at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 8, 2020 in the Chapel of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers with Pastor Tony Harrison officiating. Cremation will follow with eventual burial with her husband at Boatright Cemetery in Madison County.
