Clyde Davis Marks Jr.

Clyde Davis "Bud" Marks Jr., 71, of Kingsland, formally of Pine Bluff, went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2020. He was born April 8, 1948, in Pine Bluff, son of Clyde Davis Marks, Sr. and Mary Lucy Mitchell Marks. He was reared and received his early education in Pine Bluff, graduated from Pine Bluff High School and SEARK, formally Vo-tech. He was a member of Hebron Methodist Church, the Kingsland Masonic Lodge, the Jacob Brump Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry and a lifetime member of The National Rifle Association. He worked at Illinois Tool as a machinist and at the Pine Bluff Arsenal before he retired in 2011. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, visiting at the Kingsland store over a cup of coffee, looking after his family's cemetery but his favorite past-time was spending time with his grandchildren. Clyde was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Joseph Eugene Foster. Survivors include his daughter, Elizabeth Holly Marks Foster and her husband, Nathan, his grandchildren; Katelyn Michelle Foster, Lucy Grace Foster and River Penelope Octavia Foster, his sister, Virginia Sue Marks Colvin and her husband, Edgar. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Marks Cemetery in New Edinburg.
