Shirley Vester Seidenschwarz

Shirley Vester Seidenschwarz of Stuttgart died Sunday, February 2, 2020, of complications due to Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Born on October 30, 1934, she was preceded in death by her husband, Artie Seidenschwarz, and a sister, Alberta Smith. Her parents were Earl and Haleen (Hopson) Vester. Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Grosswirth (husband, Raymond) of Rochester, New York; two sons, Dennis Seidenschwarz (wife, Sharon) of Ulm, Arkansas, and Scott Seidenschwarz of Little Rock; a granddaughter, Paige Seidenschwarz of Fayetteville, Arkansas; a sister, Earleen Lockhart (husband, Dwight), and a brother, Ray Vester (wife, Debra), all of Stuttgart. She was a devout member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Stuttgart, where her funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22, at 1:30 p.m., officiated by the Rev. Mark Nabors. A reception and visitation will follow. Interment will be at Lone Tree Cemetery in Stuttgart following the reception. Arrangements are by Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart. Memorials may be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church or Arkansas Hospice. The family wishes to thank the staff at Crestpark for their care and support these past few years.
