Thomas Gary Dye

Thomas Gary Dye died on January 14, 2020. Gary was the son of Anna Belle and James Dye. His wife, Elizabeth Ann Curtiss Dye, and his brothers, James Dye and Billy John Dye, preceded him in death. His sister, Mary Ann Dye Harrell survives him. Gary has two children, Daniel W. Dye (Candice) of Birmingham, Alabama and Leanna Dye Wall (Colin) of Little Rock, Arkansas. He has four wonderful grandchildren: Henry Wall, Annabelle Dye, Lila Wall, and Caroline Dye. Gary grew up in Wynne, Arkansas, graduated from the University of Mississippi and was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Gary served his country as a U.S. Marine during the Vietnam era. Prior to retirement, he was employed with the Social Security Administration in the Dallas Region. The family asks that any memorials be directed to the Homer First United Methodist Church (770 East End Road, Homer, Alaska 99603), the Wynne First United Methodist Church (800 Falls Blvd, Wynne, Ark. 72396) or McElroy Methodist Church (2495 AR-284, Wynne, Ark. 72396). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at 10 a.m. a the Veteran's Cemetery at Birdeye. Kernodle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
