Margaret Ann Prewitt

Margaret Ann Prewitt, 79, of Fordyce joined her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Monday January 27, 2020. Margaret was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. She loved to cook for her family and friends. She was a member of the Fordyce High School Class of 1958 and was a diehard Redbug fan. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Bryan Shankles and Lyda Faye Wilson Shankles. She is survived by her husband, Jack Thomas Prewitt of Fordyce; two sons, Bryan Prewitt (Alicia) of Conway, Bobby Prewitt (Becky) of Sherwood, one daughter, Lisa Gilliam (Leland) of Thornton; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday January 29, 2020 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday January 30, 2020 at The Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nathan Petty officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
