Valerie Belinda Linker

Valerie Belinda Linker, 47, of North Little Rock passed away Friday, June 27, 2020 after a short illness. She was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on August 13, 1972 to her parents Charles L. and Sherry Smith. All who knew Valerie will never forget her wit, charm, grace and her sense of humor. She was a strong willed woman and a fierce Mama Bear. She always told you the truth even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear. Valerie was a spit fire and a "take charge" person. She was the type of person that already had the ball and running with it when other people were looking around wondering what to do. Valerie was a loving wife to Jeff, devoted mother, cherished daughter and sister and most importantly, she was Jeff's best friend. Valerie is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Jeff Linker; children, Charles Daulton Linker and Sloan Campbell Linker; parents, Charles L. and Sherry B. Smith; brother, Joshua Alan Smith; nephews Cash Smith, Carter Smith and Bonham Smith; grandmother, Betty Schaller and uncle, Walter Carey Schaller. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 2nd in Rest Hills Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock with a visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Tommy Kidd Jr. will officiate.
