Arlie Wade Eanes, 84, of Jonesboro completed his earthly journey on May 20, 2020 at his home. He was born on June 17, 1935 in North Little Rock to the late Ottoway "Papa" Eanes and Ruby "Nanny" Eanes. He was a faithful member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church. He worked for Exxon as a diesel mechanic before retiring in June of 1993. Before moving to Jonesboro twenty-one years ago, Arlie called West Memphis his home for 35 years. Along with his parents, Arlie is preceded in death by his wife, Faye; brother, Russell Eanes, and infant sister, Carrol Ann Eanes. He is survived by son, Wade (Lynne) Eanes of Cabot; daughter, Kim (Thomas) Priest of Jonesboro; five grandchildren, Mallory (Jared) Pate of Russellville, Alex (Jordan) Eanes of Jonesboro, Monica (Kruise) Mackrill of Ward, Luke Priest of Jonesboro and Gabriel Priest of Fayetteville; one great-granddaughter, Ellenor Eanes; one brother, David (Dee) Eanes of Little Rock; one sister, Wincie Gladish, of North Little Rock; very close friend, Becky "Dead Eye" Bryant, along with special sisters-in-law, nephews, and nieces. Funeral service will be Thursday, June 4, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Missionary Church with Brandon Wright officiating. Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
