Barbara Jean Wafford

Sis Barbara J. Wafford passed away peacefully at home on June 27, 2020, surrounded by her family. She was born December 16, 1947 in Moro, Arkansas to Steve and Alberta Holt (Wiggins) both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by six sisters: Lee Ester Wiggins, Alberta Caffey, Lorene Billups, Irene Edwards, Gertrude Stenhouse, Jurnice Gipson; one brother, Joseph Wiggins; and a special mother, Reola Bynum. Barbara leaves to cherish her memory, her husband James E. Wafford, Jr.; one daughter, Elivia A. Wafford, both of North Little Rock; one son, James E. Wafford, III (Lametria) of Sherwood; two grand-children, James E. Wafford, IV and Evan Grace Wafford; her remaining siblings, Curtis (Odessa) Wiggins of Chicago, Illinois; Mamie King of Palestine, Ark.; and Mary Boone of North Little Rock; one sister-in-law, Bernice Wiggins; JoAnn Davis, her niece she raised from a very young age; special family Rev. Alease and Beverly Romes; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
