Velma Shepherd

Velma Shepherd, 93 of Springdale, Ark. passed away Friday, June 26, 2020 in Springdale. She was born June 2, 1927 in Crosses, Ark. to Floyd Abraham Shackelford and Dilla Etta (Hollingsworth) Shackelford. She is survived by two daughters, Patsy Shepherd and Reda Hollingsworth both of Springdale, Ark. A daughter-in-law, Marilynne Shepherd of Crosses, Ark., four sisters, nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends. A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30th at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday July 1st at Crosses Community Church with Reverend Rex Eaton officiating. Burial will follow at Brannon Mountain Cemetery.
