Bobbie Jo Rowland Wright, aged 92, of Little Rock, died on March 4, 2020. She was one of 13 children born to Thomas and Emily Flehr Rowland. Proceeding her in death was her spouse of 61 years, Tommye Wright, Sr.; her brothers Charles, Carl, Jack and James Rowland; and her sisters Helen Ivy, Anne Peters, Margaret Gray, Lois Judkins and Katherine Simpson. Her survivors include her brother, George Rowland (Thelma) of Cheney, WA; her son, Tommye Wright Jr. of Roland, her daughter, Lou Ann Wright of Little Rock; her granddaughter, Laura Ashley Wright Stokes and great-granddaughter, Lilly Grace Stokes of Maumelle. In addition she leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors to cherish her memory. In addition to being a homemaker, Bobbie retired as a Nurse Practitioner from UAMS. She had many hobbies and interests including, genealogy, playing the organ and piano, and art. Several of her paintings were on display at the Historic Arkansas Museum. She loved adventuring with "Away We Go Tours." A heartfelt thank-you goes to Marty Heiple, Dr. Robert Lavender and his nurse, Pam, Dr. Lee Archer, and to the entire staffs of the UAMS Outpatient Clinics and the 7th Floor "H" Unit for their loving care. Graveside services will be Monday, March 9 at 12:00 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park, officiated by Dr. Jeff Hampton. Arrangements by Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., (501) 224-2200.
