Paul Eugene Midkiff, 69, of Little Rock, went to be with his Lord and Savior March 25, 2020. Born June 1, 1950 in Wynne, Ark. and grew up in Walnut Ridge. Ark. He attended Southern Baptist College and graduated from Arkansas State University in 1972. He retired from his lifetime career at UPS in 1999, was a member of Crystal Hill Baptist Church, and devoted family man. Paul, a Christ-follower, husband, father, pawpaw, and friend could most often be found at church, on-the-go with grandkids, or working outdoors. A servant's heart and humble giver, Paul was known by many for his willingness to help, provide, lead, plan and care for others. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.T. and Charlena Midkiff; and two infant brothers John Thomas Midkiff and Jimmy Kemp Midkiff. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Sharon Capps Midkiff; two sons Johnny Midkiff and wife Chrissy, Little Rock, Bobby Midkiff and wife Abby, Benton; five beloved grandchildren, Sam, Katie, Ethan, Noah, and Kayla Midkiff; four brothers Dr. David Midkiff and wife Dr. Sheri Midkiff, Portia, Ark., Lt. Col. (Ret.) Stephen Midkiff and wife Major (Ret.) Deborah Midkiff, Bloomsburg, Pa., Phillip Midkiff and wife Diane, Hoxie, Ark., and Daniel Midkiff and wife Ann, Benham, Ky. brother-in-law Danny Capps and wife Debbie, Forrest City, Ark.; eight nephews, one niece; four great-nephews, and seven great-nieces. Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 1, 2020, with Bro. Robert McDaniel officiating. Services must be private due to group restrictions related to the Covid-19 pandemic, however, livestreaming will be available on the Pinecrest Cemetery Facebook page. Memorials can be made to Crystal Hill Baptist Church of Little Rock, Otter Creek Community Church of Little Rock, or the American Diabetes Association.
