William Douglas

William Douglas, 87, of Aurora, Colo., received his heavenly wings on April 30, 2020. He was born January 19,1933 to the late George L. and Freddie Crossley Douglas. He graduated from Dunbar High School in 1950 and soon after entered the Air Force. He was a retired Quality Control Engineer at IBM (Boulder, Colo.) who loved to fish, hunt and farm. William is preceded in death by both parents; one sister, Evelyn Douglas Rose; two brothers, James Douglas and Frederick Douglas. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Deloise Matthews Douglas, Aurora, Colo.; daughter, Sheila Riley (Michael), Aurora, Colo.; son, Victor Douglas (Helena), Lithonia, Ga.; grandchildren, Bryen Scales, Miles Douglas, Kenya Douglas, Joshua Riley and Kayla Riley; brother, Frank Douglas and sisters, Cecile Pendleton and Edna Robinson, Little Rock, Ark., and a host of nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2020, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett, 1200 S. Chester Street, Little Rock, Ark., 72202. A private burial will be held at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock, Ark.
