Maggie Louise LaPointe

Maggie Louise McGill LaPointe died in her home May 18, 2020 in Hot Springs. She was 81 years old. Louise retired from Gulfstream Aerospace after a long career as an avionics installer. She dedicated her remaining years serving the Lord by caring and encouraging her friends and family. Louise is survived by her brother Cecil McGill; daughter and son-in-law, Donna "Katie" and Bill Burke; daughter, Vicky Moody; son and daughter-in-law, Donald "Sam" and Paula Moody; daughter-in-law, Linda LaPointe; step daughter, Laurie Brown; step-sons, Roger and Robert LaPointe; twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roger LaPointe; parents, Jim L. and Jennie Marie Moore McGill; sisters, Juanita Phillips and Helen Simpson; and brothers, Jimmy, Roy, and Thomas McGill. Visitation will be 10 a.m. – 12 noon, Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 1 p.m., Thursday at Gravel Ridge Cemetery.
