Mr. Gentry Vaughn was born September 12, 1951 in Nashville, Tennessee to Robert (Florence Key) Vaughn. He departed this life on May 23, 2020 at UAMS hospital in Little Rock, Ark. Gentry received his education in the Nashville Davidson county public school. He was a giving person and would help anyone if he could. He enjoyed sports and loved the Green Bay Packers. He was preceded in death by his parents and an Aunt, Christine Key Simmons who raised him after his mother passed. Those left to cherish his memories are his devoted partner of 18 years, Mr. Robert (Bobby) Whitehead, six beautiful Dogs who he loved dearly, Devoted cousin, Barbara G. Key, Vincent L. Key, Clinton E. Key, Glennis A. Key, Uncle: Rueben Key, Devoted friend, Mr. Kelvin Woods, God Parents; Rev. James (Shirley) Clanton, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation, Saturday May 30th 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. at O.T. Smith Memorial Chapel. Kelly Smith Funeral & Cremation Services (8424 Kanis Road, 501-612-5607) will be serving the Vaughn, Key and Whitehead families. We will be following CDC, ADH and NFDA social distancing guidelines.
