Ida Pauline Smith

Ida Pauline Smith, 92, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Friday, May 29, 2020 in Bentonville, Ark. She was born October 31, 1927 in Pleasanton, Kan., to Noah Dunnington and Edna Mollie (Norbury) Dunnington. She was retired from the University of Arkansas and a member of Buckner Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold Smith, and brothers Bill and Don Dunnington. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Penny and husband Stan of Springdale, Ark., two granddaughters, Jody Cunningham and her husband John of El Dorado, Ark., Tracey Taylor and her husband Dale of Springdale, Ark., and three great-grandchildren, Blake Cunningham, Hunter Cunningham, and McKenzie Taylor. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 from 10-1 p.m., at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with a graveside service beginning at 3 p.m., at Son's Chapel Cemetery in Fayetteville.
