William L. "Bill" McCullough went to be with his Lord on Friday, October 30, 2020. He was born December 24, 1935 to the late William McCullough and Mary Ellen McCullough in Prescott, Arkansas. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two sisters Frances Hunter, Beatrice Smith, three brothers, Rev. Edward McCullough, Frank McCullough and James McCullough. Bill served in the United States Army from 1959 until 1961. He worked and retired from the Cotton Belt/ Southern Pacific Railroad after 28 years. He was a member of Meadowview Southern Baptist Church of Sheridan. He videoed church services and gave them to the sick and shut ins of the church. He served faithfully for many years. He also supported his wife for many years in her music, he was her soundman and carried and setup all the equipment and encouraged her to "Go Get Um, and God go with You." Bill is survived by his wife Betty Owen Barton McCullough whom he married on February 13, 1965. He is also survived by one son Russell Lynn Barton of Sheridan, the love of his life is his grandson, Marcus Julian Barton of Sheridan and his granddaughter Christa Lynn Barton of North Little Rock, one brother Robert McCullough of Little Rock, many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Meadowview Southern Baptist Church in Sheridan with Bro. Micah McKinley officiating.
