Jonathan Micah Curry was born April 3, 1988 in Little Rock, Ark. to Jimmy Lyn Curry Sr. and Glenda Hagood. He departed this life Saturday, October 31, 2020. Jonathan was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandparents Mose & Ester Simpkins; paternal grandparents Juanita Blake and Jim Curry. Jonathan graduated from Joe T. Robinson High School. He went on to obtain his Master Welder certification from Tulsa Welding School. From an early age he demonstrated a natural ability working with anything mechanical. Jonathan never met a stranger. His amazing smile stole many hearts. His unmistakable laugh lifted many spirits. He always had a heart for those less fortunate than him. Jonathan leaves to mourn his passing, the love of his life: daughter, Lyrah Rose; his parents Glenda and Albert Hagood of Little Rock, Ark.: one sister, Tongela Curry of Little Rock, Ark.; two brothers, Jimmy Curry, Jr. (Megan) of Fayetteville, Ark., and Jeffery Hagood, of Little Rock, Ark.; two nieces, Jasmine Harris of Little Rock, Ark., and Jimaya Curry of Fayetteville, Ark.; one nephew, Jimmy Curry III; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. We were blessed to witness his gentle and loving relationship with his grandmother, Ester Simpkins, whom we lost in August 2020. The knowledge that they are together again is comforting. A wake for our beloved Jonathan will be held at Premier Funeral Home, Friday, November 6, 2020, from the hours of 1p.m.-7p.m. and family hour 5p.m.-7p.m.. A graveside service will be held at Haven of Rest Cemetery, Saturday November 7, 2020, at 11am. Services entrusted to Premier Funeral Home, 1518 S. Battery St., Little Rock, Arkanas 72202.
