Ardell Swiderski ,89, passed into the loving arms of his Savior, on November 6, 2020, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. Ardell was preceded in death by his parents,Tony and Frances Swiderski and five brothers and sisters. He is survived by his brother, George Swiderski, his wife of 65 years, Martha Chrouch Swiderski, his son, Glen Swiderski, three grandchildren Dustin Knight (Brittany) Brad Swiderski (Courtney) Bayley Rye (Chad) and six great-grandchildren, Cole, Carter, Avery, Bennett, Sawyer and Grayson, and special canine companion Sprinkles. Ardell served in the United States Army, during the Korean War. He was employed with the North Little Rock Fire Department, from March 1961 until August 1989, retiring at the rank of Captain. Ardell enjoyed quail hunting, fishing; working on cars, fixing things, working in his yard, and an occasional card game. He was able to do many of these things until shortly before his death. Visitation will be held at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, on JFK from 2-4 on Sunday, November 8. Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 9, at 2 p.m., at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway, Ark. Due to COVID restrictions, all attendees must provide and wear a mask.
