Verna Louise Tackett

Verna Louise Tackett, 91 of Hindsville passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020 in Springdale. She was born January 11, 1929 in the Whitehouse Community to Elmer Stout and Lula Skelton Stout. She was a devout Christian and homemaker. She always put family and loved ones first. Verna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl Tackett, one daughter Brenda Johnson, one son-in-law Leonard Johnson, as well as two brothers and four sisters. Survivors include her son, Larry Tackett and wife Kathy of Springdale; one daughter, Rhonda Barenberg and husband Bob of Hindsville; one brother, Leon Smith and wife Barbara of Jackson, Mississippi; eleven grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren, and eleven great-great grandchildren. A service will be held Saturday November 14, 2020 at Sisco Funeral Chapel at 2PM with Pastor Randal Caselman officiating. Visitation will take place from 1PM to 2PM shortly before the ceremony.
