William "Bill" Franklin Green, 96, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 20, 2020. He was born October 5, 1924, in Booneville, Ark., to Millard and Louella Green. He served in the United States Army, 758th Engineering Brigade, during World War II. Bill retired from Teletype after over 20 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Flora Dell Green; sons, Rusty Green (Pamela) and Larry Green; grandchildren, William "Will" Green, Spencer Green (Lindsey), Mallory Green, Ben Green, and Emily Green; great-granddaughter, Macklyn Green; and nieces, Mary Janice Hooper (Gerald Miller), Cathy Hooper, and Malrietta Drennan ( Danny). He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Helen Hooper. His family wishes to extend a special thank you to Foxridge Assisted Living (Chenal) for their loving care these past years, and Arkansas Hospice for their recent care. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 10200 Highway 5 North, Alexander, Ark., 72002. Pallbearers will be Rusty Green, Larry Green, Will Green, Spencer Green, and Ben Green. Service will be livestreamed on Pinecrest Funeral Home and Memorial Park's Facebook page.
