Patsy Faye Stevenson Boothe

Patsy Faye Stevenson Boothe of Hazen, left this worldly home for her heavenly home on Sunday, November 29, 2020. She was born on August 8, 1935 in Des Arc, Arkansas where she then grew up and attended school. Patsy married Richard H. Boothe on April 24, 1956 and they shared 56 years of marriage before his passing in 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Hazel Nannie Stevenson; brother, Robert Stevenson; sister, Emma Jean Nannie and great-granddaughter, Caris Horton. Patsy is survived by daughters, Diane Huntley (James) of Leslie, Arkansas and Judy Foot of Hazen; three grandsons and two granddaughters, David Horton (Kelly) of Birmingham, Alabama, Phillip Hambrick of Fairfield Bay, Will Hambrick (Pepper) of Leslie, Arkansas, Courtney Foot (Brian) of Pottsville, and Joanna Foot of Lonoke along with 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Clare Mae Branham (George) of Des Arc; two brothers, George Nannie (Lucy) of Carlisle and Travis Nannie (Pam) of Little Rock and many nieces and nephews. Patsy was a stay at home Mother during the 1960's and 70's. She was busy being a loving mother to her daughters, while helping to raise a garden, canning vegetables, and making jellies. Patsy was well known by her daughter's friends for her cooking. There were often a few extra at the dinner table for home cooking with her famous yeast rolls and pies. She often kept children for working mothers and loved them as her own. Back in the day, she was a member of the Royal Neighbors Club, Hazen Home Demonstration Club, and the Hazen Garden Club. Patsy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Hazen. In her younger days, she was a member of the Calvary Baptist Sr. Ladies Auxiliary and loved to help with yearly Bible School and feeding the children after programs or practices. She was blessed the past five months to have care from the following loving caregivers; Barbara Toms, Laveria Jackson, Deona Williams, Wendy Farrow, Brenda Jones, and Barbara Holloway. Two special ladies have been great help in her extra care and support of the family, Gail Cox and Joy Brewer. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 7:30 P.M., Monday, November 30 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Hazen.
