Martha Jack Cochran Doan

Martha Jack Cochran Doan, age 91, of Maumelle, Arkansas died October 6, 2020. She was born in Vardaman, Mississippi to the late Essie E. and Robert Milburn Cochran. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Dr. Lemont A. Doan. She was a graduate of Vardaman High School and Draughon's School of Business in Memphis, Tennessee. Martha J. was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother affectionally known as Mama Beau. She was a caregiver to elderly family members and was also a part-time receptionist in her husband's and son's optometric practice. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband, houseboating at Mountain Harbor with family and going to Razorback games with friends. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of Arkansas Optometric Auxiliary. Martha is survived by three sons, Alan (Paula), Steve, and Dr. Kenny Doan (Teresa); one granddaughter, Leah (R.J.) Murphy; three grandsons, Chris, Keegan, (Rachel), Kennan (Allison) Doan and great-granddaughter, Ellie-Kate; step-grandson, Logan Mays; great-grandsons, Ben, Will and Jack Murphy. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Riverwood Memorial Garden's mausoleum in Maumelle.
