Barbara Jean Seagle

Barbara Jean Seagle, 71, went to be with the Lord Saturday October 10, 2020, surrounded by her family. She was born November 21, 1948, in Colorado Springs, Colo., to Joe and Verla (Smelker) Martinez. Barbara touched many lives with her positivity, kindness, and love. She was such a giving and non-judgmental person, she made you feel instantly at ease and cared for. Barbara accepted you for who you were in the present and never would hold anyone's mistakes against them. She gave you the opportunity to be who you were meant to be. Barbara loved animals and took care of any that came around. She also never passed on a good opportunity to lovingly embarrass her grandchildren. Her grandchildren after all, were her whole world. She is proceeded in death by both of her parents and a brother, Lee Martinez. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of fifty two years, Dennie Seagle; two daughters, Dawn (Tom) Waddle of Harriet, Ark., Kerri (Stephen) Burnett of Clinton, Ark.; seven grandchildren; Keira Waddle, Timothy Waddle, Tommy Waddle, Tasha Waddle, Levi Burnett, Hannah Burnett, Michael Vaughn; two sisters, Donna Gross, Jolene Ems; many great-grandchildren, other family members, and a host of friends. Memorial services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, October 17, 2020, at Bee Branch Baptist Church in Bee Branch, Ark.
