Richard (Rich) Velasquez Herrera, Jr., 47, of Cave Springs, Ark., and owner of Richland Commercial Masonry passed away October 9, 2020. He was born November 28, 1972, in Fresno, Calif., to the late Richard V. And Linda McCane Herrera, Sr. Rich enjoyed riding motorcycles, golf, music festivals, hanging with friends, cheering on the Cowboys and Lakers. His family was his most important, he wanted to build an empire for them! Rich served proudly in US Navy. For 17 years he shared life with his loving wife, Katherine Herrera. Other survivors include his daughters, Britney, Savannah, Gabriella, Briella; his brother, Patrick Schaaf; sister, Nickie (James) Spiker, of Judsonia, Ark.; his nieces and nephews that he adored, Danielle (Nick) West, Derrick (Brittney) Schaaf, Bobby Schaaf, Joshua Schmidt and Brittany Schmidt; two grandchildren, Cambry Pina and Titus Pike; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins he looked to as brothers and sisters; his business partner, Steve; staff; business associates and dear friends. Services will be Sunday, October 18, 2020, in the Chapel of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, with Visitation beginning at 2 p.m., and the Funeral service following at 4 p.m. Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.
